Week of October 21, 2019

This is the last week of the quarter. No late assignments (other than those due because of absences in the past week) will be accepted at this point. Let’s do a great job this week and finish strong! 🙂

This Week in AP Physics
We will explore conservative and non conservative work and will then do a lot with a major topic, the conservation of mechanical energy for closed systems. Time permitting we will also cover power. As always, expect some tremendously great problems and some workbook pages in small batches. Your lab report for the
Work-Energy Theorem experiment is due on Friday, October 25. (Remember to use the Lab Report Writing Guide and Lab Report Rubric when writing your report.) Expect the unit 4 test next week. Woot!

This Week in Physics
We will cover the quantitative analysis of projectiles and will do
assignments 3 & 4 from unit 3. If you have not yet taken notes from video 3 and video 4 from unit 2 you should do so for Monday by the start of class. Time permitting we will complete our experiment on projectile motion this week. Expect a test next week.
